After a lot of communication and organisation, I’m really happy to announce that I’ve become an official representative of the Lola Makeup blogging team (cue applause)!
That means that I’m going to be giving you guys monthly posts regarding the latest and hottest products from this professional, cruelty free makeup brand. Exciting, isn’t it?
So today, and for the duration of the partnership, I’ll be reviewing the products (in my normal fashion) and describing idea for a wonderful look you can create with them; let’s get into it!
Long lasting Intense Colour Lip gloss (014 Rose)* – £10.00
The moment I saw this magnificent gloss in the tube, I was intrigued. And, needless to say, it’s definitely a triumph when on the lips too. This gloss delivers the perfect amount of shine, defining the lips and, due to the hyaluronic acid element of the formula, moisturizing them at the same time.
It feels really comfortable on (ie. it didn’t feel like my lips wanted to glue themselves together), lasting a good amount of time: I only had to reapply twice within a 14 period! I genuinely love this, as I’ve seen how much it can really transform a look into something much more classy.
The colour would suit pretty much any skin tone, as it’s a warm rose with some beige undertones to it, so no matter who you are, don’t be afraid to play with these!
Eye Shadow Mono (017 Gold)* – £10.00
Admittedly, I haven’t put this beauty down since the moment I received it. The pressed shadow is so smooth and applies beautifully to the centre of the lid, adding that light champagne-hued pop of sparkle that makes eye makeup so irresistible.
Originally, I did think that, after setting eyes on the shadow and swatching, that it was a little too powdery for my liking, however, with a brush, it’s a completely different story. It also blends out seamlessly due to its buttery texture – I can’t get enough of this shadow!
On the other hand, I do think these are rather pricey for individuals, but you’ve got to treat yourself once in a while, eh?

Duo Kajal + Eyeliner* – £21.00
This pen is by far my favourite Lola product of the three, due to it’s sheer quality and versatility. You get an amazing amount of product for your money (this eyeliner duo is HUGE, trust me!) and you can really get some use out of it.
The kajal side is so creamy and rich, making it perfect for the waterline, adding to the drama of your look. I’ve also loved popping it on my lashline in order to create the illusion of fuller lashes, which is always good (gotta love that volume!). This also doesn’t move throughout the day (unless you literally produce pools of tears) however, before setting in, there is definitely some playtime with the kajal – I love smudging it out for a smoky eye!
As for the liquid liner, it’s got to be one of the best I’ve tried. It’s incredibly precise and intense – I’ve been creating the most perfect wings with it lately and I’ve had so many compliments from friends and family. It’s also entirely waterproof and crease-proof, meaning that it stays put all day, which has really been impressing me.
These two go hand in hand as a combination; there’s no need to buy and carry around two separate product when you’ve got this one!
